Tabnine Wins “Best Presentation” at VentureBeat’s Transform Innovation Showcase
Are you looking to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technology? Look no further than Tabnine, the Tel-Aviv-based company that was recently voted as having the “Best Presentation” at VentureBeat’s Transform Innovation Showcase.
Tabnine offers an AI-powered coding assistant that is designed to accelerate and simplify software development. This tool functions as a pair programming tool, integrating directly into a company’s IDE to provide intelligent code suggestions and completions tailored to each company’s specific context.
During the Showcase, Tabnine’s VP of ecosystem, Brandon Jung, announced the release of “Coaching,” a feature that allows users to constrain the output of Tabnine to match explicit corporate standards and guidelines within the IDE. This feature also helps catch deviations at the pull request and automatically adjust them.
With Tabnine, users have the ability to select from a catalog of AI models to power their software development chat tool, Tabnine Chat, ensuring that they are using the best model suited to their situation.
Tabnine has raised $57.1 million to date, with $25 million coming from a series B funding round in November 2023. The company has 85 employees and competes with the likes of Microsoft’s GitHub Copilot and Google Gemini Code Assist.
After winning at the Innovation Showcase, Brandon Jung expressed his excitement, stating that the recognition confirms that Tabnine’s value proposition is differentiated and scalable, even when competing against tech giants like Microsoft.
